Brac Systems Develops Weather Stations for MaxJet Performance Products
At the beginning of January 2010 Brac Systems Inc. had signed their first development agreement with MaxJet Performance Products (www.maxjet.ca) located in Montreal, Canada, to develop and produce a unique USB weather station. Brac Systems’ Electronic Engineering Department (EED) has, within 6 weeks, delivered this solution and is currently fulfilling the first order from MaxJet PP, which is scheduled for delivery at the end of February 2010.
This has permitted MaxJet PP to provide a more accurate solution to their existing client base. Ontario Govt Approves Installation of Brac Systems into 7 Schools
The Ontario Ministry of Education has confirmed, as part of the Green Schools Pilot Initiative (GSPI), that Brac Systems' Commercial Greywater Recycling Systems will be installed into seven schools from various school boards throughout Ontario.
Planning and site audits will begin immediately so all systems can be installed and operational by September 2010. The contract will be handled by Brac Systems' Ontario Distributor, The Install team, and will include the supply, installation, and commissioning of the multiple systems at the seven different locations. All systems will be equipped with monitoring devices making it capable for the school board to study and report on the performance and efficiency of the Brac Systems technology.
"We are very excited about this project as it gives us the ideal forum to demonstrate the effectiveness of the Brac Systems to the board for consideration in all new schools that will be built in the future. The Board of Education will also be a great reference customer for future business in Ontario," says The Install Teams owner, Chris Thompson.
The Green Schools Pilot Initiative is a new program developed and funded by the Ministry of Research and Innovation in conjunction with the Ministry of Education to provide "clean-tech" companies with an opportunity to demonstrate the viability of their technology with a well-known reference customer: Ontario's schools. The $20 million ($2M allocated for greywater technology) fully funded initiative seeks to identify, demonstrate and test, innovative green products and technologies that currently have limited exposure in the Ontario school system. A link to this program can be found by clicking here.
Brac Systems would like to thank Chris Thompson of The Install TEAM and his marketing partner, Jay Castiglione of tangoraysolar.com, for all their efforts.

Brac Systems Launches New Rainwater System Product Line - News Release
Brac Systems is pleased to officially announce the launch of the first 4 models of BRAC Rainwater Harvesting Systems ( RWH Series ). These unique systems are being offered as the 'Cadillac' of rainwater harvesting. The RWH Series are equipped with all the bells and whistles including, a 2hp constant-pressure pump with electronic control panel (capable of boosting to 3hp), built-in water hammer arrestors, a chlorine disinfection treatment, the BRAC BCR-100 electronic controller, and a two-stage filtration process. The RWH Series also carries a 5 year manufacturer's warranty against factory defects.
Brac systems developed the RWH Series to address the overwhelming demand for dedicated rainwater harvesting systems. Because rainwater collection is one of the easiest ways you can save water, money, and energy, homeowners are exploring these opporutnities more and more as the threat for water scarcity increases.

Just remember, if you are collecting water for reuse, Brac Systems has the solution!" Says Technical Director of Brac Systems Inc., Emmanuel Brien. "Nature delivers an abundant supply of rainwater directly to our property and our houses already have a built-in collection system ie. roof, gutters and down pipes, which delivers the water to ground level. We just have to divert the flow and store it. It just makes sense!" He adds.
The four models will range in storage capacity from 3400 litres (898 USG) to 6600 litres (1742 USG). For more information on the RWH Series, and to see the full line of products Brac Systems has to offer, click here to go to the products page of the website.

New Brac Models Get The IAPMO Certified Seal Of Approval
Brac Systems Inc. is proud to announce the official certification by IAPMO R&T Lab of six new Greywater Recycling Products. A field technician from IAPMO R&T Lab was present at the Brac Systems factory in Montreal, Quebec last week to scrutinize and test the new Greywater Recycling products. Each system was required to complete 500 consecutive operations ass per IAPMO minimum Standards testing. Each Brac System being tested successfully performed close to 1000 consecutive operations before being shut down by the IAPMO representative as he would have missed his flight back home if he stayed any longer! All systems were tested to, and complied with, the IGC 207-2009 and the CSA B128.1 Standards.
The newly certified systems are the LB-300 'Lowboy' crawlspace model, the RGW-500 and 502 residential models for larger estate sized homes, the SGW-2000 semi-commercial GRS, and our new commercial grade lift stations, the LSP-300 and LSP-400.
